Tusker Marine proudly announces the official release of its upgraded flagship vessel—the OFRP 6000 (Double Rocket). Building upon the legacy of the widely popular Rocket-5900, this model offers an extended body, increased beam, and refined hull dynamics for improved agility, balance, and sea-handling performance.
Designed with both fishing professionals and recreational mariners in mind, the DR-6000 boasts a length of 6.02 meters and accommodates outboard engines from 15hp to 40hp. The deeper hull improves stability in both calm and choppy waters, while the upgraded design offers more onboard space for equipment, passengers, and catch.
“Our goal was to evolve a proven design into something even more powerful and versatile,” says the founder, a mechanical engineer with 40+ years in the field. “The DR-6000 answers the call for more speed, comfort, and load capacity.”
With increasing demand from both local and international clients, the Double Rocket is already making waves across fishing harbors in Sri Lanka and East Africa. Production slots are now open for new orders, and customization options are available.
